To help alleviate the overwhelm and make the process  a bit easier for you, I am providing a few simple and budget friendly recipes that you can follow to make healthy green  juices at home that your whole family can enjoy.
Super Spinach Green Juice
Spinach is a leafy green vegetable that is full of both health promoting and disease prevention properties. Spinach can help regulate blood pressure, boost brain health, boost immunity, etc. This is a great morning drink that will not only provide a boost of energy, but it can help balance blood sugar levels as well.
Ingredients:
2 handfuls of spinach
1 sweet potato
1 green apple
Directions:
Thoroughly wash fruit and veggies. Chop fruit and veggies. Juice all ingredients and enjoy.
Blood Sugar Balancing Green Juice
This recipe might not appeal to everyone, but it is extremely effective at keeping blood sugar levels balanced. This green juice is so effective that warnings have been issued to avoid consuming it within the same time frame as medicines used to control blood sugar levels. Drink it in the morning for the best results.
Caution: Consult with your physician before use and use with caution if you are taking meds to control your blood sugar
Ingredients:
1 bitter melon (bitter gourd)
1 romaine lettuce heart
1 large green apple
1 cucumber
½ lime
Directions:
Thoroughly wash fruit and veggies. Chop fruit and veggies to fit in juicer. Juice all ingredients and enjoy.
Tip: For best results drink in the morning.
Sleep Enhancing Green Juice
For those of you who experience restlessness before bed this recipe is for you. Romaine lettuce is the star of this recipe. It contains a substance called lactucarium which is the sap of the lettuce, it is what  produces a relaxing effect and helps you to drift off to sleep.
Ingredients:
3 romaine lettuce hearts
2 celery stalks
1 large green apple
½ lemon
Directions
Thoroughly wash fruit and veggies. Chop fruit and veggies to fit in juicer. Juice all ingredients, enjoy, and you will be off to sleep in no time.
